Joint venture partners take Medivet to court

More than 50 joint venture partners are taking Medivet to court in a dispute about the allocation of costs in the business.

The claimants contend that Medivet has indefinitely imposed undue costs on them that amount, in effect, to an unexpected new charge. This in turn, they contend, threatens profitability.

Medivet has said that only a minority of its branch partners have disagreed with the financial deductions that have been made. It also says the money is needed to invest in the corporation.
