Equine vets have expressed concern over a presentation by the author Isabella Tree in which she reportedly suggested that dangers posed to horses by the flowering plant ragwort have been overstated.

Tree, one of the UK’s leading ‘rewilders’ who has transformed 3500 acres of East Sussex land that she owns with her husband Sir Charles Burrell into a haven for rare species, claimed at the Hay Festival that ragwort had been demonised.
