I read with interest the letter by Keith Powell and others on the environmental dangers of veterinary antiparasitic agents (VR, 17 November 2018, vol 183, pp 599-600).

I note that the neonicotinoid products mentioned include those popularly included in small animal pet health schemes and are thereby commonly given.
