Veterinarians who practise in the UK will be familiar with the RCVS declaration that you make your primary concern the health and welfare of animals committed to your care.

Part of this responsibility is the need to keep up to date and complete the required amount of CPD each year, so it is likely that many of you will be heading to Birmingham next week for the British Small Animal Veterinary Association’s annual congress.

As usual there is a large selection of lectures across clinical and non-clinical topics and you would be hard-pressed not to find something of interest among them.
