AS veterinary and applied scientists who have followed closely the various approaches taken by different jurisdictions in order to control the spread of bovine tuberculosis (TB) in cattle, we were encouraged to see the report suggesting that targeted control measures are working in Wales (VR, June 3, 2017, vol 180, p 531), reinforced by the Welsh chief veterinary officer (Glossop 2017).
