Up-to-date databases help reunite owners and pets

The National Veterinary Database (NVD) says that microchipping is only effective if databases contain up-to-date information. Set up by Central Veterinary Services, NVD's aim is to work with veterinary practices to ensure that lost pets are reunited with owners and that pet owners comply with the law.
