Infectious bronchitis virus in Romanian broiler farms

WE have been undertaking a specific surveillance programme to study the molecular epidemiology of infectious bronchitis virus (IBV) in Romanian broiler farms.

Fifty-one flocks were tested between September 2016 and May 2017 by collecting 10 tracheal swabs randomly from each flock. Collection date, farm location, bird's age, clinical signs and applied vaccination protocol were also recorded for each flock.
