Scotland and NI achieve negligible BSE risk status

Scotland and Northern Ireland have achieved negligible risk status for BSE. The World Organisation for Animal Health (OIE) announced the new risk level, the lowest risk level in the OIE's official classification of BSE disease status, last month and it has been welcomed by vets and the cattle industry alike.
