Funding boost for small animal surveillance project

THE Biotechnology and Biological Sciences Research Council has awarded £700,000 to the Small Animal Veterinary Surveillance Network (SAVSNET) to help it expand its database of UK pet health records and support more ‘big data’ research into animal and human diseases.
