We recently changed the way we elect the BVA officer team to make the process more open and transparent. This year we asked BVA members to put themselves forward to be part of the Electoral College to help choose the next junior vice-president. The successful candidates are Kathleen Robertson, James Bould and David Williams.
▪ Kathleen works in mixed practice and is the regional representative for Scotland on BVA Council.
▪ James qualified from Nottingham and is a small animal practitioner in Lincolnshire. He has a keen interest in countryside issues.
▪ David runs the ophthalmology clinic at the University of Cambridge and is a member of the BVA CPD Committee.
We are delighted that they will be helping to decide who to recommend to BVA Council as the next junior vice-president. For more information, see www.bva.co.uk/elections
