US $30 million prize offered for brucellosis vaccine

A PRIZE fund of US $30 million is being offered for the development of an effective vaccine against brucellosis that can be used in developing countries.

The prize is being offered by AgResults, a collaborative initiative between the governments of Australia, Canada, the UK and the USA, as well as the Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation. The initiative was set up to incentivise the private sector to create innovative and sustainable solutions to development challenges in agriculture.
