Scotland sets out its strategy for animal health and welfare

This is how the Scottish Government describes its newly published strategy setting out high-level aims for animal health and welfare in the Scottish livestock industry over the next five years. The strategy, which was published on March 18, identifies five themes that need to be addressed to deliver improvements in animal health and welfare: skills and knowledge, disease risk, welfare, regulatory impact and societal impact.
