Northern Ireland achieves Officially Brucellosis Free status

THE European Commission has approved the application from Northern Ireland for Officially Brucellosis Free (OBF) status. The application was granted on September 9, and a controlled reduction of the brucellosis programme will be introduced as soon as the status has been officially published by the Commission in the Official Journal of the EU.
