Members appointed to disease surveillance board

THE APHA has announced the appointment of members to the new Animal Disease Surveillance Governance Board, which, among other things, will advise Defra and the Welsh Government on the best use of the funding they make available for scanning surveillance in England and Wales. The board is intended to be a partnership board between government and industry and is being established as part of the changes the APHA is making to its disease surveillance system.
