Virology lab wins construction award

THE ‘unprecedented level of technical ingenuity’ that went into the construction of the new Plowright Building at the Pirbright Institute in Surrey was recognised last week, when it won the Judges' Special Award at the British Construction Industry (BCI) awards.

The award is given to the building or civil engineering project of any size that the judges consider to be particularly inspirational in one or more aspects.
