Equine organisations see ‘glaring flaws’ in horse passport proposals

A VOTE on proposals for new European horse passport laws has been postponed after concerns were raised about the draft legislation.

The European Commission's Standing Committee on the Food Chain and Animal Health had been due to vote on the proposals on May 6. However, the vote will now take place in July, after a number of member states expressed concern about the latest draft of the proposed legislation.
