End of the road for wild animals in travelling circuses


News that the Government is to bring in legislation to ban travelling circuses in England from using performing wild animals hit the headlines in March. Although relatively few in number – there are at present around 39 animals involved – the BVA believes that the welfare of these animals is emblematic of the way we treat all animals.
