A WELCOME addition to the bookshelf of any veterinarian, this book covers all drugs for all species of veterinary interest – well, almost; I would have liked to have seen the inclusion of therapeutics for invertebrates, particularly honey bees. Nevertheless, it provides excellent reference material, consisting of alphabetically sorted drug monographs with appendices on dermatological, ophthalmic and otic products. Useful for cross-referencing purposes, there are also listings in which drugs are arranged either by their therapeutic class or major indication, followed by the species in which the drug has shown clinical efficacy.
