SCIENTISTS at the University of Edinburgh have developed a technique that uses a non-pathogenic parasite to deliver vaccine antigens to cattle. The technique offers a new approach to vaccinating cattle and, they suggest, has the potential to help farmers worldwide.
The work, published in PLoS Pathogens, was carried out in collaboration with the Moredun Research Institute, with funding from the Wellcome Trust and Biotechnology and Biological Sciences Research Council.
