BVA's new Council hailed a success

The BVA held its first Council meeting under a new structure on April 6. The meeting, at the Association's headquarters, was hailed a success by both new and more experienced representatives alike.

AFTER three years in development, the new arrangements for more effective representation on BVA Council saw 12 elected regional representatives from the nine government regions of England, as well as the three devolved regions of Scotland, Wales and Northern Ireland, bring the views of the members in their area direct to the Council. The 14 major specialist divisions continue to be represented, as are younger vets via their junior and senior representatives.
