Vet student wins ‘young scientist of the year’ award

HANNAH Eastwood, a first-year veterinary student at Bristol veterinary school, was named as the UK's ‘Young Scientist of the Year’ in this year's National Science and Engineering Competition. She is the first woman to be awarded any senior title in the competition, which began in 2009 as the National Science Competition.
