Animal welfare groups in Scotland are backing a new campaign to combat the ‘horrific’ and escalating illegal puppy trade.
The Scottish SPCA’s campaign – #SayNoToPuppyDealers – will go live on 16 April.
It will highlight concerns about the scale of the trade, advise people how to buy puppies responsibly and how to report any welfare concerns they come across to investigators.
