Red fish dog treats

Statistics from

Fish4Dogs has launched two new types of dog treat and a complete diet.

Fiskur Teningur is a fish cube treat that the company says is made from sustainably sourced red fish. It adds that the grain-free treat is low in calories and gentle on dogs’ tummies.

The second treat launched is ‘Sea Wraps’, which are made from sweet potato wrapped in fish skins. The company says they are low in calories (an average of seven calories per treat) as well as being rich in potassium and vitamin A.

Fish4Dogs has also added ‘Cornish Sardine’, to its ‘finest’ range of complete foods. The diet is made from whole ‘human grade sardine’, and includes sweet potato, which the company says is an ideal source of vitamin B6 that can help beat skin irritation, and vitamins C and D, which are essential for healthy bones and digestion.

It adds that the diet is a source of iron and notes that its high fish content makes it rich in omega 3. It says that with no artificial ingredients or grain, the diet is suitable for all adult dog breeds and can help in the development of shiny coats, healthy skins and supple joints.
