Raising awareness of stress in dogs

Lintbells is launching a new campaign this month highlighting stress and anxiety in dogs – especially when travelling in cars and responding to strangers – and the ways that veterinary practices can help.

The company says that its YuCALM ‘Happy Dogs, Happy Days’ display kits will help practices make clients aware of the warning signs of stress and anxiety in their dogs and provide a talking point. A digital tool kit is also available, which includes social media posts, e-mail alerts, infographics and banners, as well as an educational video.

Alethea Maillard, marketing manager, explained: ‘Using YuCALM helps a dog to be their natural happy self by relieving stress and anxiety – it doesn’t sedate or change the pet’s character in other ways. We think that’s something that everyone can feel happy about.’
