‘Staffies’ are the most rescued breed

THE Staffordshire bull terrier is the breed most likely to end up in rescue centres, according to figures released by the RSPCA.

Up to 15 per cent of the 14,707 dogs cared for by staff and volunteers at the charity's animal centres over the past five years were Staffordshire bull terriers. A further 7 per cent were Staffie-crosses.
