Nominations sought for canine health awards

THE Kennel Club Charitable Trust is seeking nominations for this year's International Canine Health Awards.

Now in their fifth year, the awards, which are supported by Vernon and Shirley Hill, founders of Metro Bank, celebrate researchers whose work has had a positive impact on the health and wellbeing of dogs.

Three awards are available:

▪ International Prize in Canine Health. This award recognises outstanding contribution in the field of canine health and welfare and offers a prize fund of £40,000 for future projects. The award will be presented to an individual who is currently involved in world-class innovation and who has much still to contribute.
