SCOTLAND is set to become the first administration in the UK to ban the use of wild animals in travelling circuses, following the introduction of a new Bill to the Scottish Parliament last week.

The Wild Animals in Travelling Circuses (Scotland) Bill will prohibit the use of any wild animal in a travelling circus in Scotland on ethical grounds.
