Final-year student becomes an associate fellow of the Higher Education Academy

A FINAL-YEAR veterinary student at the Royal (Dick) School of Veterinary Studies (R[D]SVS) has been awarded Associate Fellowship of the Higher Education Academy (AFHEA). The vet school believes that Lauren Krueger has become the first undergraduate veterinary student in the UK, and the first undergraduate in any discipline in a Scottish university, to become an associate fellow of the HEA. The fellowships are awarded to those who have met the appropriate standards in teaching and supporting learning in higher education, under the UK Professional Standards Framework.
