Welsh veterinary science centre celebrates its first anniversary

THE carcases of cattle, sheep, goats, camelids, birds and a rabbit have all been examined postmortem at the Wales Veterinary Science Centre (WVSC) at Aberystwyth in the 12 months since it was officially launched last year. The centre also reports that it has allowed veterinary businesses and the livestock industry in Wales to access expert pathology advice and surveillance intelligence, increasing disease surveillance across Wales and providing farmers with a clearer understanding of the health of Welsh livestock.
