Defra starts to implement new rules on livestock movements

DEFRA announced on July 27 that it had begun to roll out the introduction of new rules that aim to simplify the movement of livestock in England. It said it would be starting to contact keepers individually to help them transition to the new arrangements, and that keepers did not need to do anything until they were contacted.
