STUDY pressure is the biggest contributor to mental health issues in veterinary students, a recent survey has found.
Commissioned by the BVA and the Association of Veterinary Students (AVS), with support from Vets4Pets, the survey was carried out during the final term of the 2015/16 academic year and received responses from 1552 veterinary students. This was the seventh time since 1996 that the BVA/AVS have surveyed the student population with a view to determining the issues and concerns of the coming generation of veterinary professionals.
