Vets save stabbed police dog that ‘stood firm in the line of duty’

A POLICE dog that sustained multiple stab wounds to his head and chest as he and his handler pursued a suspect in Stevenage has ‘exceeded all expectations’, according to the veterinary surgeons who performed emergency surgery to save the dog's life.
