IN tribute to Jean Marjorie Mann (VR, October 1, 2016, vol 179, p 334), Bruce Vivash Jones writes: Jean, Lady Mann, was born in 1932 in London to Arthur (a pharmacist) and Nancy Bennett. She was educated at Purley High School and was then one of the early students at the newly founded School of Veterinary Medicine, University of Bristol.
