THE Government has published its second annual report on progress with the UK's Five-year Antimicrobial Resistance (AMR) Strategy. The strategy, which was launched in September 2013, aims to slow the development and spread of AMR, taking a One Health approach across people, animals, agriculture and the wider environment. The annual progress report describes what has been achieved in the second year of the strategy's implementation, including ‘a number of significant achievements on the international stage’.
