Researchers seek to understand the role of badgers in spreading TB in Edge areas

RESEARCHERS at the universities of Nottingham, Surrey and Liverpool are surveying badgers killed on the roads around the Edge areas in England to look for evidence of infection with bovine TB. The aim of the project is to assess the prevalence and geographical distribution of TB in badgers in the counties on the edge of the TB epidemic in England.
