IN tribute to Ian Milloy Duguid (VR, May 28, 2016, vol 178, p 564), Rod Murdoch writes: Ian Duguid qualified in Edinburgh at the Royal (Dick) Veterinary College, as it then was, in July of 1952 and initially worked for Alasdair Steele-Bodger in Lichfield, Staffordshire. The work was hard and the hours long but it gave him valuable experience of general practice. He married Liz in October 1953 and moved to Windermere to a branch of the Kendal practice owned by Stan Wood.
