KELLY O'Connell, from the University of Glasgow School of Veterinary Medicine, was the winner of the 2015 MSD Animal Health Connect trophy for her final-year research project evaluating serum hyaluronic acid as a non-invasive tool to monitor the progression of equine liver disease. She also received a prize of £3000.
