IN tribute to Selwyn Michael Vaughan (VR, March 26, 2016, vol 178, p 322), Richard Brown and Christopher Warren write: Michael Vaughan was brought up in Herefordshire where his love of farming, and cattle in particular, was nurtured. After attending school in Devon, he graduated from Cambridge University in 1964, where his physique and talent had enabled him to play rugby at the highest level. He was also awarded the Fitzwygram Prize by the RCVS in the same year.
