INSURANCE provider RSA formally launched its nationwide preferred referral network on December 16. It reported that 27 referral practices had been confirmed as members so far and that it was in discussion with a number of other practices that had expressed an interest in joining the network.
The company provides pet insurance through a range of brand partners, as well as its own MORE TH>N brand, and says that, overall, it provides insurance for more than one million cats and dogs in the UK. It announced in 2015 that it intended to create a network of preferred referral practices to address what it described as the ‘substantial variability in costs’ of referrals (VR, October 17, 2015, vol 177, pp 377-378).
