ON September 1, David Charles Gregory, BVSc, MRCVS, of Ninepins, Moor Lane, Wincanton, Somerset. Mr Gregory qualified from Bristol in 1962.

Ian McNab, Bill Petheram and Mike Kerby write: David Charles Gregory (known as Greg) was born in 1935, the son of a greengrocer in Banbury. He did two years' National Service, rising to the rank of lieutenant in the Royal Artillery. For a year after that he helped his father in the greengrocery business and was subsequently admitted to Bristol university, qualifying from there in 1962.
