Referral practices express concern about potential restrictions on choice

THE British College of Veterinary Specialists has invited the Royal Sun Alliance (RSA) Insurance Group to attend its forthcoming meeting to discuss concerns arising from the insurance group's apparent changes to the terms and conditions of its pet insurance policies, which appear to limit the choice of referral practices that policyholders can use. It says the invitation follows concern expressed by a number of referral practices that the health and welfare of pets may be at risk if insurance companies implement restrictions to limit the choice of referral practices.
