PET owners in Scotland are being encouraged to be vigilant for poisonous plants that might harm their pets following a period of fine summer weather that has seen ‘flora flourish across the country’.
A press release issued by the Scottish Government on August 21 warned animal owners that many plants commonly found in gardens and the countryside could cause serious health problems for animals such as horses and dogs.
