THE Kennel Club (KC) recently launched its 2014 Pedigree Breed Health Survey, which aims to improve pedigree dog health and build a stronger understanding of the health of all pedigree dog breeds. As well as benefiting the UK's canine population, the results of the survey will help the veterinary profession by showing the prevalence of specific diseases in dogs, which will aid veterinary research and allow for evidence-based decisions to be made to improve dog health.
