THE Veterinary Public Health Association (VPHA) is seeking to raise funds to help vets, farmers and animals in Croatia, Bosnia and Serbia get back on their feet following devastating floods in May this year.
The widespread floods in central and south-east Europe were the result of a low pressure cyclone, which brought record-breaking levels of rainfall to the region. At least 86 people were reported to have been killed and damage has been estimated at more than e1 billion.
