Donated workstation to help students become better vets

VETERINARY students at the University of Cambridge will be helped to become proficient in crucial aspects of anaesthesia following the donation of a fully functional anaesthesia workstation by the Animal Health Trust (AHT).

The workstation, which has been donated to Cambridge vet school's new clinical skills centre, became redundant at the AHT during refurbishment of operating theatres in its Small Animal Centre. Staff at the centre were keen to see the machine donated to an educational facility and, with the veterinary school being only 20 miles away, they were pleased to see it go to a local institute.
