Concern about ‘out of sight, out of mind’ attitude to maedi visna

Statistics from

VETS at Scotland's Rural College (SRUC) are warning sheep farmers throughout the UK to be alert to an increasing threat from maedi visna (MV). They say that there is evidence of infection increasing throughout the national sheep flock, but fear that many in the sheep industry have an ‘out of sight, out of mind’ attitude to the disease.
