ON December 12, 2013, Thomas Anthony Martin Chambers, MRCVS, of 89 Canterbury Road, Wolverhampton, West Midlands. Mr Chambers qualified from Edinburgh in 1944.

David Franklin writes: ‘Tam’ Chambers knew me from the day I was born. He and his father, the much respected (and often feared) Major Frank Chambers, were in partnership with my father, Doug Franklin, in the Wolverhampton practice of Chambers, Franklin and Chambers (later to become St George's Veterinary Clinic).
