ANTIMICROBIAL resistance was commonly detected in Salmonella and Campylobacter isolates from people, food-producing animals and food within the European Union in 2012, according to the latest surveillance report from the European Food Safety Authority (EFSA) and the European Centre for Disease Prevention and Control (ECDC).
