Cattle scab confirmed in Scotland

A CASE of cattle scab (psoroptic mange) has been found in a calf on a farm in the Borders, the first case to be confirmed in Scotland since the early 1980s.

Reporting confirmation of the case on March 22, Scotland's Rural College (SRUC) said that the calf and its suckler cow dam had recently been imported from outside Great Britain.
