THE Animal Health Trust (AHT) is again warning dog owners of the risks of seasonal canine illness (SCI). The cause of the illness, which has affected a number of dogs walked in woodland over the past few years, remains unknown. Cases are most common between August and November and affected dogs present with vomiting, diarrhoea and/or lethargy within 24 to 72 hours of walking in woodland.
